Celtic music,Indian music channels?

I am interested in satellite radio, but disappointed at the lack of world music channels.I have emailed both Sirius and XM about this and got lackluster responses back.I would like to know if anyone here knows if they will increase their world music channels anytime soon?

When XM first started, they had both a Chinese and an Indian channel-but I guess they weren't that popular and they took them off the lineup.

I'd like to see them add a channel for either J-Pop or J,K&C-Pop as there's a very large following developing for it especially with the growing popularity of anime in the states. (do a google search for j-pop, you'll see what I mean)

(edit below)

No sooner did I post this message, when later in the day I read a report on all access that XM is doing a channel similar to this idea.
Edited by DJKraze on 06/21/05 04:55 PM.

Chinese and Bolly-pop still have a very limited audience still here in the US. You'd have a better chance of seeing another "latin" channel added to the lineup before this. I like the idea of selling the channels as some sort of additional access package like they do for Dish Network, though

I wonder why a Celtic music channel would not be popular?
if the price was right I wouldn't mind paying for it either.

I would think that they might add a reggaton (spanish hip hop) channel since that's getting popular....we had a station pop up in LA that plays that music and some of the mainstream stations are also adding latin hip hop songs to their playlist.

Reggation is like the rebirth of swing music in the late 90's: Its a fad. It'll dissapear within a few years.
