Centova Cast vs. something else

Centova Cast works but it seems to be a dinosaur control panel. Which CP do you use (or have used) and what are some things you like or dislike about it (past or present)? How would you rate or compare them and their differences from your personal experiences?

Centova is indeed a dinosaur. I’ve been a systems engineer for over 25 years and I COULD NOT for the life of me get Centova to work on several Linux distros/versions (and cancelling my account took I don’t know how many attempts) plus the “pay us and we’ll install it for you” option seemed like extortion. I did have an opportunity to use it in an internet-radio.com-hosted environment and was marginally impressed (this was probably mid-2018 so my likes/dislikes are a bit fuzzy). Ultimately I decided to use SAM Broadcaster Pro and have not looked back. Worth every penny. And in so doing I’ve taken up a new hobby not only with internet streaming, but building Icecast/SHOUTcast monitors and metadata servers.
