Wikipedia is confusing me about the history of KXIX. Were they Power 92 for a while or something, or was 94.1 new a couple years ago? I had a friend down there that mentioned Power 94 a few years ago before the move. Was 94.1 involved at all in the 92.7 move to 92.9? Did the calls just move?

This was a complex move, Bob, and it's been a while since I was writing about it, but I think it went like this: the Sunriver license (facility ID #165965) actually moved from 92.7C2 to 94.1C2 in 2010, while the Bend license (facility ID #49913) moved from 94.1C0 to 92.9C0 at the same time. What made it complicated was that there was a call/format swap at the same time, too: the KXIX calls moved from facility 49913 in Bend to facility 165965 in Sunriver and thus "stayed put" on 94.1, while the KRXF calls went the other way, "moving" from 92.7 to 92.9.

Here's where I wrote about it back in 2010: http://ftp.media.radcity.net/ZMST/Journal/2010/rj3416.pdf

Oh wow. Why didn't they just move facility 165965 from 92.7 to 92.9 as a C0 and then downgrade facility 49913 from C0 to C2? Or is it not possible for that to happen because of the distance from Sunriver to Bend? Wait, why was 92.7 even involved in this whole thing? I see the reason for 94.1, because it's right next door to 94.3 where KTIL now not sure what the calls are. Couldn't they have just downgraded the Bend station and left the Sunriver station alone?
