centre county grange fair

During the Grange Fair I have added a new item to my menu on the fry wagon. They're honey sugar waffles and the folks are raving about them. I'm to the left of the grandstand. I'll also be at the Great Bedford County Fair plus I'll be up at Prince Gallitzen this weekend. This time of year is when I make all my money.

The honey sugar waffles you make are quite tasty. I added a little cinnamon. The onlyproblem I experienced were the lines at the frywagon. How often do you change the fry oil?

Will you be at the Cambria County Fair ? That starts on Labor Day.

The Grange Fair was running broadcast and cable TV ads as far away as Pittsburgh. Trust me, 99.9999% of the people in Pittsburgh haven't a clue what a Grange Fair is. Who was doing their media buys this year??

No, unfortunately I cannot get back into the Cambria County fair because of a prior problem with the health inspector. I am still appealing that one. As for the grease, I change it as often as Steve Clark washes his hair. It's not really grease as I use 100% peanut oil which is actually healthier than grease or canola oil. As you can see, fries are a big part of my life since retiring from broadcasting. I was fortunate to get into this.
