CFEQ 107.1 Winnipeg

CFEQ Freak 107 is no longer. A loop running on 107.1 talking about the new Ignite 107.

They have a web site at:

http://ignite107.com/

They will launch at 08:00 Oct 7 according to the loop announcements

The format will be according to the web page:

"Ignite 107 is Winnipeg's newest radio station.
Hear great Christian Hit Music that you won't hear anywhere else!"

They have started using RDS on the FM signal something Freak never did

More listing for Manitoba are at my web page:

Thanks for the info, Shawndx. For Canada, it sounds like an interesting concept. I’ll be sure to listen to this one!

The new Ignite sarted today as they said they would. The station is:

Playing Christian Hits music...rock..hip hop..rap

Does have commercials so somebody is helping to pay the bills

There are DJ's on air

The new web site at http://ignite107.com/ is all glossy and new thanks to Golden West the new owners. There is even a Twitter area.

RDS readout is IGNITE

We shall see how they do as time goes on. Not my knd of music but I am sure some folks will enjoy it

I listened to “Ignite 107” all day yesterday, and from what I heard, I must say that I like it. This station will most deffinitly be one of my favorites. Being a semiChristian, I must say that I think there need to be more stations like this, especially in the US and Canada.
