CFZM 740 Zoomer changes

My wife and I are very sad that Saturday Sinatra is gone. First it was bumped up 1 hour to make room for a real estate show. Now it is gone entirely. Checking the schedule, Frank Proctor is no where to be found. What happened?
 
Contact your local mafia don. Tell them about Sinatra. Maybe they will but a horse head in the station manager's bed.
If you don't know how to reach the mafia, contact the mayor.

For the record, Sinatra was not the only singer from that era. These all-Sinatra, all-the-time shows do a disservice to the entire standards genre. Besides, he was a despicable human being, regardless of his abilities as an entertainer.

Ouch. I don't want to enter a flame war about Sinatra. I was actually wondering if the host Frank Proctor was OK. His other shows (non-Sinatra) were gone as well. I enjoyed his work and miss him on the air. I assume that Zoomer has had to cave in to the younger-demo-pressure from advertisers since they now offer a "90s at 9:00" show instead of Sentimental Journey (which was 40s, 50s, and some 60s).
 
Also, "Friday Night Bandstand" has moved to Saturdays 7 P.M.-1 A.M. Eastern, under the title "Saturday Night Bandstand", replacing "The Heart and Soul Of Rock and Roll".

I haven't heard it since it changed nights, but the CFZM website suggests the show may be playing a lot more post-1964 music than it had on Fridays, since many of the "Top 5 Countdowns" for this date in the past after the program's move to Saturdays have been from 1964 or later.

"Friday Bandstand"'s old slot has been taken up with the shows that had previously run Moinday-Thursday (Robbie Lane, "Theatre Of The Mind", "Stardust", and the raunchy "Midnight Blue").

I got the chance to listen to almost the entire show last week (November 2nd), and while the show does still play nsome pre-1964 music, it now plays music mostly from the 1964-72 period.
 
I miss Friday Night Bandstand

I know it has moved to Saturday nights but I really miss the variety of '50s and '60s music they played on Friday nights. to me, it doesn't make sense dropping the pre-1964 music to apparently attract a younger audience when they're still playing big band on Sunday nights. would like to see a '50s-early '60s specialty show brought back some time on the weekend.
