Jesus is a Yankee...

It's a sad day in Red Sox Nation.
I would say, this is the top story.

Hey Johnny, have fun getting around in NYC!
What? What's that? A subway strike?
Awe shucks...

Plane landed safely with no injuries.

Damon part of the "nation"
(and the ellusive once in an 86 year championship team.)
leaving is a much bigger story.

Never in my life have I been so confused...

The Bible says Jesus was without sin...

How can he be a Yankee then?

Re: Jesus is a Yankee...

To think the one time I saw Johnny Damon at the Stadium was when he was a rookie with Kansas City (1996). Now I don't know if WCBS-AM 880 or the YES Network mentioned this fact or not, but doesn't "Jesus" Johnny have to cut that hair now that he's with the 26 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS? Just a thought! :)

Yup, and I hear that all his power comes from his hair.
And once this happens, he will no longer be, uhm... The chosen one.

But hey, enjoy, he's all yours!

Re: Jesus is a Yankee...

Next thing, the Yankee-owned YES Network will hire away Jerry Remy to become the Voice Of The Yankees.

(Seriously, Remy will continue doing the Red Sox for NESN for the 2006 and 2007 seasons, so he's not going to YES----yet)

Remy on YES (what a joke)

Remy won't work for YES or broadcast a Yankee game. Get real now. Remy Dog is a huge Red Sox fan

Radioken was worried, and responded:

My response (except for the fact that Remy is still under contract to NESN, which is true) was intentionally sarcastic.

as always, you can't get any facts right. remy signed a five-year extension last winter. he's locked in thru 2010 season.

Re: Jesus is a Yankee...
