Ch.7 Bad weather = 2 mediorologists

If it's snowing during 6am news (or even raining hard) Ch.7 has two weather people to do handoffs to each other. The grave nature of the situation must require this.
I'd let Dylan handle it alone.

Dylan (not Bob) lacks the gravitas to handle such a big weather story alone. Imagine her up against Harvey Leonard. Harvey wins that one, hands down.

Also, the tag team thing goes well with 7News' flashy style.

It isn't just a big-market thing either... lately in Portland WGME and WMTW have been using the two-meteorologist approach, often times with one in the studio and one "on the scene" for the obligatory "pick the snow up off the ground" shot.

oh please. dickie, jc, harvey and wankum were tossing to each other all day long during the big storm. that's what the 'weather team' does.

dylan is actually a competent meteorgolist. pete is great, too. jeremy is very sharp. 7 has a very good, young weather team in place. a huge improvement over that freaky orange-haired midget.

Dylan is ok, but very light. Pete Bouchard is better and Jeremy is ok. 7's weather team is ok, probably better than 4 is right now....but not even close to 5's team. Harvey is a Boston weather institution and he's still the best forecaster in town.

Personally, I always liked Todd Gross and think he's an excellent met. He really knows the science, unlike many so-called "meteorologists."

That's all a good medio' has to be. Just read the script, it's not science (is it?). She's pleasant, has a clothing deal to cover those toned 120 llbs. and tries to answer Ann's questions without wincing.

Seven pays the most attention to weather, they seem to lead with it at any opportunity. But they don't need to have two on duty in the same studio.

What about Dick Albert? An ever bigger institution?
I remember them on competing channels (5&7) when I lived there in the late '80's.

Will Shelby Scott come out of retirement again during a storm? Every year I long to see hear bundled up in a winter coat holding a mic with one had and holding onto a telephone pole with the other during an incredible wind driven blizzard :)
