Challenge due to KB!

I'm wearing my emotions on my sleeve as I write this. The change of KB is so disappointing. Entercom did such a terrible job with this station in terms of marketing and promotion. And while three years is a great length for a new experiment, it was doomed at the start.

Today I challenge Entercom, Infinity, Clear Channel, Citadel, Cumulus and any other large radio company.

Give me an AM with heritage call letters and a history of music: Country, oldies or even AC.

I will take that station, bring back its heritage and the music that made it famous, and I'll do it for FREE. I will work with the sales department to properly train them, and make them believe in what we are doing, and the sales revenue and bottom line will climb.

Here's the catch! When I hit a 5 share, you write a check for $250,000.

We've done it two more times this year with stations that I own. This is not rocket science, its just hard work. As laziness continues, in 2006 so will the STUPID changes in formats.

My hobby of buying, building and fixing AM's across the country has turned from hobby to a great business. It is a passion and its made me wealthy.

If you would have had passion for KB, this would not have happened.

Thanks!

WHY WASTE YOUR TIME POSTING THIS ON THE LAME BOARD THAT VERY FEW PEOPLE IN THIS MARKET READ? Why don't you take this challenge right to corporate parkway? why didnt you do this a year ago??
Why didn't you post a few success stories on here by CALL LETTERS?? Why didn't you say who you were if you are such a big sucess? I am among those that wish to see the old KB be a huge success. You don't exactly raise my hopes.
I agree their promotions have been a huge failure. Whoever the promotions director is (if they even have one)he or she is brainless, lazy, and not motivated to be successful at all.

Guy--Check your facts

From looking at your profile, I see that this is your first post on the Buffalo/Rochester board. So obviously, you don't know that Jim Pastrick (midday host at WHTT in Buffalo), Scott Fybush (a broadcast professional that lives in Rochester--runs a great website at fybush.org), and Chrissy Cavotta (former midday host at WKSE in Buffalo) post here.
I forgot to mention Bob Smith (from WXXI), Tom Donahue (formerly of WWKB), Mark Giardina (another broadcast professional from Rochester), Chris Russo/Russell (formerly of WGR), etc., etc. I'm sure there are some I missed (and if I did, I apologize to those people), but I'd rather stop now because, then again, "very few people" would see it and it wouldn't make a difference anyway.

CHECK MY POST AGAIN, I WAS TALKING QUANTITY, NOT QUALITY. NONE OF THE PEOPLE YOU MENTIONED HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ENTERCOM MANAGEMENT ANYWAY.
NAMEDROPPING KNOW IT ALL!
