I'll be shocked if it makes a bit of difference. Part of the problem is the hub am show is barely a sports show. Those guys are not anywhere near as knowledgable as D & C, and that's not a knock it just is what it is. None of D, C, or M are very likable. T & R created a club / cult following and dictate what is cool and what is not, prey on the impressionable. So at this point I may try to attract hub am drive listeners at 10am to EEI with some other frat boy type show.

It shouldn't be regarded as a problem (by EEI) Hub is playing to their demo. Let the geezers stay with EEI and stop complaining.

Mid-day isn't important in and of itself but more as a lead to Dale and Holley. As long as 98.5 has a solid lead in drive time(s) it doesn't matter how the deck chairs are arranged at EEI.
 
Said to be getting another role at Entercom tho they didn't say what it was. Presumably at EEI not RKO or AAF but who knows

John was excellent. I'm sure the RS broadcast is sorry to lose him (Joe & Dave).
 
Finn of Globe says no reason given for Ryder termination.Mutnansky will take over Red Sox pre and postgame shortly with Chris Villani of Herald doing it for now

Villani is ok. Mutt has had his detractors.
Ryder did what he did very well. Hope things improve for him as quick as possible.

Why are you comparing Mutt's show with the Sports Hub's AM drive show? Mutt and Lou were competing with Gresh and Zo and losing even worse than D&C were to T&R. Plus, I would dispute the "not anywhere near as knowledgeable" claim. D&C don't give a shit about sports; they want the cheap, exploitative crap that they can pound into the ground.

That's a big mistake. Jon Ryder was the best!! They got rid of one of the BEST Talk Show host. What a big mistake. That's their loss.

Fee says in Herald that Ryder iis going to Total Traffic & Weather. Mut will do EEI 10p show and help out Mikey Adams in addition to Sox pre/post game
