Change in Mediabase Monitored Alternative Stations

I noticed today that several stations that were reporting on the alternative panel are now reporting on the active rock panel, which it seems to many of us is great news. The stations that moved over to active rock definitely have playlists that have leaned active in recent memory. WJRR/Orlando, WBSX/Wilkes-Barre, WNFZ/Knoxville and WHRL/Albany are 4 of the stations that I've noticed that are now reporting active rock, and there may be a couple more that I didn't notice. There are still a few more stations (eh-hmm.. WRXL) that I think should move over to active rock.

Hopefully now that will help actual alternative rock bands reach better chart positions. I just noticed that the Bravery's "Believe" just shot up to #4.

Exactly. R.E.M.'s "Supernatural Superserious" is getting serious airplay, and is yet not even on the top 20. Because of crap like Seether and Three Doors Down (Does anyone even listen to these crappy bands anymore? I thought this stuff died in like 2001) are hogging the charts and definitely belong on the mainstream rock chart, not on modern rock.
