Well...It appears that Peter Arpin has finally given up on trying to make a go of Attleboro's 1320-AM.
In essence...Arpin "gave away" the station to a local cable concern, whose first order of business was to file with the FCC to change the station's license from commercial to "non-commercial".
Although I don't have all the details yet...it appears that the intention is to run the place as a "community" station...whatever that's supposed to mean.
As far as I know...the only paid people there from now on will be board-ops.
Sounds like an interesting experiment in the making.
OH!...by the way...the calls have been changed back to WARA.
