Change in V101.9 HD2 format

I was browsing HDradio.com and it seems that CBS has decided to make the new HD2 format on V101.9, contemporary jazz instead of urban talk, which makes a whole lot of sense, since HD radio doesn't have that many subscribers yet. Does anyone know when did they decide to make the change and how long before it and the rest of the CBS Radio HD channels launch?

They aren't even broadcating in HD yet. I was in Charlotte/Gastonia Saturday 3/11/2007 with a HD Radio and none of the CBS cluster is HD yet. Clear channel has all of it's cluster with HD1 AND HD 2 right now. One of the best in the Charlotte is WDAV's signal- HD1 or HD2 has excellent processing! ;D

FRN...

CBS Station 97.9FM WPEG is transmitting in HD with a HD-2...I understand 101.9FM WBAV and 104.7FM WKQC will installing new HD transmitters soon.

WDAV is not transmitting a HD-2 channel.

WDAV is like several others, testing it I guess, they had an HD-2 not long ago playing eclectic type music- it sounded good. I hate to see it go-BUT give it time it will be back just like CC's Greenville SC stations, HD-2 gone then returns a few days later!

Are you sure you are not thinking about WFAE 90.7? They run some goofy music on their HD-2...

I listen to WDAV on my BA Receptor on a regular basis and have never noticed a HD-2...
