By CHR, I hope you mean "classic hits radio" AKA the canned classic hits programming owned by Cumulus. That used to be the format on WFUZ 92.1 (when it was cool 92.1 and 100.1). It's not too bad, yes it's canned but they play a good variety of songs.
 
The Mountain sent out an email to listeners from their website that says That they are moving to 98.5 HD 2 On Monday August 5th And are going commercial free! Trying to make the fact that they are being replaced sound like something Special and Exciting ... FUNNY.
 
A newspaper web site, I believe the Times-Leader had a story on this today. The Mountain will become an NBC Sports network affiliate starting August 5th according to them. They plan a three-hour local sports shows in the afternoon. As was already stated by Dave, the article said the Mountain's format (don't know if it is just music or what) will be on KRZ hd2 and on the stream at that point.
 
One of the stations is going to air, live, the first simultaneous Changing of the Guard and that of the royal baby?

If it's something like a new Hot AC becoming Country in a swap, or a news station changing to sports in a swap so there's more elbow room for PBP overlap, that doesn't count as a change. That's musical chairs.

Change is Susquehanna changing WARM 590 going all-Sunshine Pop ..... or WICK 1400 going to Soul Oldies ..... or WILK simulcasting WWV ..... or a new startup MoR on 1320.
 
so, whats the change? the mountain going all sports, warm going to live radio 24-7 with harry west... since wilk went down in the last book..getting rid of local talk...whats the change? :eek:
 
Was everybody as floored by that change that Roger has knowingly been predicting for today as I was? (Once again I'll state the obvious, the internet should have a go-to sarcasm font.)
