changes at 101 kgb/coe louis back...

Yeah it is official, or so says her MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/blondeonduty). According to her, she's back on "middays since the corporation dumped the stiff", and she's also on the air during her weekend shifts.
Jim has been missing from building. It would appear based on her My Space page that he has been replaced as a jock. Since CC has very few off air PD's, unless they do multiple stations, the assumption in house is that he is gone from San Diego. Calls to GM of course don't get returned. The in house betting is that Bob won't see the end of the year at CC and yes I know that as been posted here very accurately. Mr. New Country I'm guessing won't be far behind. It is very interesting to note that as the sales dept keeps missing it's numbers the programming ranks pay the price. Since Brad has been in the building the number of sales managers has gone up and PD's has gone down. Sounds not like a long term sinning strategy. Why Bill Pugh choose to sign on at that sinking ship is beyond many in the building.
The fast food mentality of programming from the current round of PDs at Fuzzy Channel is .... crap. Personality driven radio is where it is at. It's the money maker for Hot AC. Noting that Hitman Haze will do good in the afternoon drive; he is, however, better at Channel 933. Of course, I don't own KMYI or any CCU stock (as it is private), they can do what they want -- and in six months we can ask 'em, "How's that working out?"
The brain trust that runs Fuzzy Channel don't get it; and don't drop any spare change on the carpet at the broadcast studios in the chain. All extra monies go to Texas to pay for the ill-fated private buy out. Gawd what a fracken radio wreck. If that move happened in today's economic climate, it would be another delay in the ill-fated move.
I expect that more shows will be trimmed and the termed "excess" will be gone.
Of course, this rant is not aimed at the talented folks at Clear Channel in San Diego, the trouble is that the there are less and less of these folks in the building.
The radio climate is like global warming. Some folks believe it, some don't and the rest are partying like it is 1999.

It is easy to throw spears at the Texas manglement; however you'd expect the local folks to have some 'nads on programming and station management. Perhaps I'm confused on the definition on what a program/music/on-air host is today at CFC (Clear fuzzy Channel).
Hitman, damn you're good. If you can pull of the three/four hat trick at Star and Channel 933, you deserve a six figure salary. But then again, if you get one of those, the writing's on the wall.

Coe Lewis is the greatest female disc jockey of all times she should be PD and full time on air at KGB she knows the station and music better than anyone! And that includes Bobby Hill and Jim Richards. After all Coe was MD of KGB during the "Hey Buddy" glory years!
By the way you guys mentioned that Jim Richards has been missing from the building for a while, but I say that his personality has been missing from the airwaves, and the building for at least 5 or 6 years!

8)Coe and Bobbie are the best blondes on the air in San Diego. I totally disagree with J.B. {136KGB} - Bobbie rocks, even though she wouldn't go out with you! Get over it! The girl knows the music - with or without M.D. stripes! Richards sucks - let's all hope he's gone for good!

D.J.1144, I don't know who you think I am, but you are using the initials J.B if you are referring to the great KGB engineer John Barcroft I am not him! Plus John dedicated his life to KGB, ham radio, and bachlelor hood. I once asked him, how can someone make alot of money??? His response "DON'T GET MARRIED AND DONT DATE !!!! THAT'S HOW YOU SAVE MONEY!" Also I would not ask out Bobbie Hill if she were the last woman on earth! She is at least 20 to 30 years older than I am! I prefer someone NOT in my mother's age group. And for John Barcroft when Bobbi was in the building John would run for cover. If I am picking a blond to ask out from radio it would be Coe, or Cindy Spicer, or Cindy Wood, or Missi from Rock 105.3, or Emily from the Jeff and Jer morning show. All of which are absolutely beautiful women ! Oh and I can't forget Ladona Harvey I think she is absolutely AWESOME! on and off the air!
But I will leave Bobbi to you D.J.1144 she's all yours, and I promise you I have never ever even thought of asking her out! Bobbi is ok on the air but I dont want to date her and NEVER have!

vonrollskyway1 you are correct, but I am more correct there is a beautiful young woman named Emily that does all of the real work for Jeff and Jer. Emily Mcquire for DSC isn't fit to hold the door for the Emily on Jeff and Jer. The Jeff and Jer Emily would be an amazing run way model, she's beautiful, [EDIT]
