I agree it's a bummer. First, it was run by 2 real radio guys, KJ Allen and Benji Kurtz, who are in the business because they love it. Second, the station had become a part of the community. For the longest time, Clear Channel just kept it on the air by throwing whatever simulcast they felt like on it. Third, Kurtz gave that area one of the best programmed stations anywhere.
Now the ownership is throwing all that away to start anew. Let's see if they can make a go of it and bring the kind of dedication that Allen and Kurtz had to the station and the community.
