Per their website, Leslie Gold, the radio chick starts today from noon-3:00 from New York.Penn moves to 11:00 at night.

Um, there was this show they called The Dog House and now Jv and Elvis...Maybe they have a following in the Bay Area? Why wouldn't they put them on somewhere on the station with so many holes in the lineup.My theory is that if they are put on the station during non-morning drive, Adam Corolla would be compared to the Dog House and would pale in comparison.

It's about time we had another debate about the Dog House! It's been far too long. Sarcasm aside though - and I'm not a big fan of Elvis and JV - but it would probably make sense for that widely ignored station to bring back well known personalities. Who knows, CBS could even do some promotion and attract some listeners...

Makes sense to me.Speaking of holes in the line-up, what is Free-FM using to fill the spaces?I'm actually surprised they didn't just fill the 10a-12p slot with the Free-FM brand's two one-hour shows, Penn and Jim Cramer. JV & Elvis' program would fit perfectly in the 3-7p slot. However, that would leave 106.9 with no local programming during it's prime dayparts.

The need to advertize. Average joe probably doesn't know the station exists.
