Changes at 94.1

The rock format's ratings are dismal, and Greater Media has just fired all its airstaff in anticipation of a format change. Phinally, Filly is getting a danz stayshun! Mega Media Group recently agreed to purchase 94.1 from CBS Radio, and it will be flipping to a dance format.

Besides, IF 'YSP were to flip to dance music, be sure these folks would want to try to start up a 21st century version of the "Disco Demolition Night" there. I mean, this is the same place where people BOOED and threw snowballs at Santa Claus so nothing would surprise me. Only this time, if something like this would happen, we would BE there!

By the way it's going now, it seems that Top 40 is taking over rock stations. G-Rock is now Hit 106 and K-rock is 92.3 Now, and rumors of YSP flipping to Amp (which REALLY won't make sense)

And it was against the Chargers players, not Santa Claus! Okay...so the Santa Claus thing happened about 40 years ago but apparently the story still holds strong. BTW, Brett it was another radio guy down there that told me about it....I had absolutely no idea!

I'm not gonna get into a sports argument....only observing the outcome (albeit tiny) of what this April Fools joke did.

If Greater Media fired everyone MMR listeners would throw 10,000 marbles at them.....and Preston and Steve know where to GET'EM!!! 94.1 flip to dance? May as well. If they try to stay a rock format they'll keep getting stomped by 3 stations anyway.
