Changes at Beasley

Morning gal Charly Kayle left the Mike, Jim & Charly show to take morning co-host spot at KOIT-FM 96-5 in San Francisco.

Night Guy Mike Manko was let go and replaced with canned Donny Osmond show.

Good for Charly! Always liked her and this is a big opportunity for her. Sorry to hear about Mike. He was also a very nice guy and pretty good on the air.

Been reading the national trades a lot lately and budget cuts are happening a lot right now, in every market and every company. Probably due to the fact that Q1 budgets just started. At least they didn't do it before Christmas like a lot of Clear Channel and CBS stations did.

This business is getting tough! I'm hoping the Vegas market and the radio industry in general has a better 2012. Seems like things are starting to slowly turn around but we'll have to wait and see.

Sorry to hear that Mike was let go--[-very entertaining show, I thought--now what??? Maybe now they can find room for "AT40--The 80's somewhere.........

That is a good spot at KOIT...Bay Area radio is in turmoil but a big market. I wonder if Kdwn is next?

I think so, but despite their big signals their ratings are micro-sized. Maybe they should just simulcast programing from one of their FM stations.

KDWN brings in good money. Brokered programming M-F 6p-1a.
