Changes at Buffalo's low power UHF 15

Looks like viewers in Niagara Falls will finally be able to get Springville's channel 67 off the air. Buffalo's little "WBNF-CA," the low-powered analog UHF 15 that's located on one of the tall sticks on Grand Island has been relaying WNGS lately. Anyone know how this came about, or why?

As for whether or not ch.67 will close down because of ch.15 depends on how well ch.67's received in Grand Island and ch.15's received in Springville. If one city can't get the other's signal very well, I anticipate that both channels will remain.

In my opinion, ch.15's signal was meant to increase ch.67's viewing area, rather than replace the ch.67 signal.
