Some guy named Tim Murphy (VP/GM of weei.com) is taking over as VP/GM at the Boston cluster (WEEI, WRKO, WAAF and Mike/WMKK), at least according to All Access. What does that mean for Julie Kahn and/or Jason Wolfe? Have either (or both) been shown the door?

Don't know but RKO ran an ad for something for some awards dinner and Kahn's being honored. Wonder if Jessica Heslam has something on this. (Brian Maloney's SaveRKO site has been dormant)

Why would Wolfe be shown the door? Murphy is the new GM of the cluster, not PD. From what I've read (I saw it somewhere other than All Access but don't remember where), Kahn will remain VP/GM of Entercom/New England and Murphy will report to her.

does there really need to be a VP/GM Boston and a VP/GM New England???

the only sticks Entercom owns outside of the Boston market are 3 of the WEEI simulcasted stations

given all 3 of those just re-broadcast WEEI, I'd say one "cluster" for New England pretty much sums it up
