Changes at Flow 93.5 FM

PD Wayne Williams is no longer with Flow, promotions staff, and sales representatives also out the door.

Also gone: J-Wyze, Devo Brown, Chris Mikes, Jus Red, Spex, The Real Frequency, Dr. Jay, OTA Live as well as all DJ's who worked on the mix show.

That's a lot of change!

Scott Boogie, Jenni, Melanie, Peter Kash and "Starting From Scratch." are all that seem to remain.

According to their website, there will be someone joining Melanie each weekday morning LIVE on FLOW 93-5.

Looks like the station's music mix is being tweaked as the station is now billing itself as Hip Hop, Dance, and R&B

Sounds like the folks at CHUM/CTV Globemedia is wasting no time taking over the station now that it is under their ownership. One can imaging what will happen if they end up like CFBT and CHBN. And we already know what happened to those stations after CHUM Group bought them out.

I think they're giving flow a short life and a book or so to see where ratings are.
Then they might slowly add more dance and less of the other stuff, but that's just a guess.

Also sounds like 93.5 did some major improvements to their audio processing the last couple of days.

That may be as a result of moving into the CTV radio building. If they haven't yet, that is the plan.

Sounds like they got a whole new processing system. It made a big difference.

It could be a processing system on par with what CTV uses, vs what Mr. Little guy sees fit.
I have to be careful when I say that though, because Mr. Slaight had investments in flow, and he doesn't come across as the kind of person that would settle for just any quality output.
Then again, Milestone may have had the final say...(?)
