Changes at JOX 94.5

So, which theory do people want to bandy about?
1) A cost-cutting move by a corporate monolith in serious financial trouble, or
2) Replacing a tired and sometimes terrible show with another show that really isn't a whole better, or
3) Both?

Feel free to discuss...

I thought is was good show for middays. This also affects the midday slots of 740 in Montgomery and 730 in Huntsville. Hope it's not CBS.

Hasn't "Opening Drive" been on since WJOX went to FM (first on 100.5, then to 94.5)?

Yeah, it's probably a mix of both. If Cumulus' problems made them get out of their Chicago Bulls & Chicago White Sox contracts on a Chicago station...I could believe money being a bigger culprit.

Actually, the Opening Drive goes back to the AM days.
