News from The Gumpdusky Sports Station That Just Won't Go Away: ;D

Kevin McCabe, formerly of Channel 10 and Fox Sports Net, is now the midday (11 AM to 1 PM) host on KDUS. The show's not bad but McCabe comes across like too nice a guy (which by all accounts I've heard, he genuinely is) to do radio sports talk. Nobody will ever compare him with the likes of Wolfley, Gambo, or Jacobs. But his is the only local sports-talk show between 11 and 1, what with the syndicated Jim Rome on XTRA and Colin Cowherd on ESPN Radio/KTAR. Good luck to him.

Bob Kemp moves to 1-4 PM, and Calling All Sports with Roc & Manuch is now from 4 to 7.

McCabe is likable enough, and local sports talk is certainly noteworthy.
However, Rome brings an entertainment factor to sports talk that is unmatched.
I won't be switching. :-*

KDUS has had SOOO many opportunities to take on quality hosts that WANT to come to the Valley...What a joke.
 
There's a radio station on 1060? Call letters are KDUS? Never heard of it. :-X
