They dropped the Kevin & Bean show and are playing more Active Rock artists such as Godsmack, 10 years and Stonesour, since KRZR is gone.

An Active Rock has to have a Classic Metal/Hard Rock library as well. which 104.1 doesn't have, so what they added Active Rock currents, not no KRZR.
105.1 THE BLAZE is still better.

Yes Owned by Mondospere, At that time they had KDJK 95.1 which went from AOR to Alternative, which the AOR move to KHOP 104.1.
Mondospere, which were promoters for Def Leppard and Metallica Concerts,they went with 4 in a Row KFRR in 1994 a AC format, and when the EDGE KKDJ 105.9 went Classic Rock, 104.1 became New Rock 104 with the slogan "This is not For you", and later Mondospere took over THE FOX 95.7.

Actually, KHOP changed to AOR two years before Mondosphere acquired and changed KDJK-95.1 to Alternative. But it was the popularity and high rating ratings that doomed KDJK as an AOR station which was sad as KDJK had a better variety of AOR shows and better dj's.

Actually, KHOP changed to AOR two years before Mondosphere acquired and changed KDJK-95.1 to Alternative. But it was the popularity and high rating ratings that doomed KDJK as an AOR station which was sad as KDJK had a better variety of AOR shows and better dj's.

KDJK 95.1 was better than 105.9 KKDJ, in the later 80s IMO, I used to pull their signal in on my antenna, they were more of a rocker, before KRZR.

In 1993, I did pick up 103.9 KROW (KHOP), but IMO KRZR was better.
