Changes at KIRO TV

Big Money Movie with Miss Washington, Sandy Hill. I was 10, but the memory is ingrained.

Then, Cliff Kirk, Ron Forsell, and Harry Woppler and EYEWITNESS NEWS! Sometimes they would even let Sandy sit at the adult table. Who knew at the time what a momentous moment that was for women in TV.

I remember Gulstan from here in Atlanta at KIRO sister WSB-TV. He was a good anchor and reporter here.

Gulstan goes back to KAMC/28 in Lubbock, Texas in the early/mid 90s. I always thought he had an interesting name. I'll have to hunt down to see what (if any) video I have of him from Lubbock...

Sandy Hill?

Wow, I didn't know she was still kickin. I believe she at one time climbed Mt Everest. Maybe she could do news on the new oldies station.

Why not bring back Lou Dobbs, Aaron Brown, Katie Haufman. (little play on order),
Peter Alexander, Nick Walker, Natasha Bedingfield(just kiddding)Curry, Larry Lujack, Glenn Beck, who else am I missing???

I saw Sandy Hill on a KIRO TV retrospective that I happened to stumble across over the weekend...she actually looked pretty darn good considering I watched her on the Big Money Movie 40 years ago.

Shark, I saw that special as well. That is what got me thinking that they should hire her back. She looks and sounds great and she is so appealing. I think she could add a lot to KIRO TV news. Breathe life back into it. I had such a crush on her in my pre-pubescent years watching the Big Money Movie after school.

Keep in mind that she expressed much interest in being a student in her interview on that show. Would YOU want to go back to the jobs you had in your 20's late in your career (maybe hard to relate as some of you are just now DOING your 20's stints while pecking on this board...!!)

Speaking of former anchors, Hattie Kaufman's still pretty hot! I see her occasionally on the CBS Early Show. I would love for someone to bring Hattie back to Seattle, although I understand that she really doesn't want to come back.

Of course, anyone who hires Hattie has to deal with the fact that she might disappear... :D
