Changes at Kiss Evansville

My dial stopped on 106.1 to hear “Ice Ice Baby”. After the song, the PD’s voice track announced there were changes coming to Kiss tomorrow morning. So Joshua might finally get his Urban or a format to be named later.

Let the armchair program director discussion begin!
 
Obviously won't be country, they killed WYNG to help out WKDQ and WBKR, remember?

Anything other then urban is plain stupidy, unless you move GBF-FM to 106.1. That's my thoughts and I'm sticking to them.
 
Well, the big change was yet another Morning show.

How long till they finally give up at Kiss? ???
 
For the poster who hears adjacent channel splatter of Power 106 when he dials 106.1, Kiss Evansville's playlist is pretty much Urban now. The morning show is fast paced and phoners have increased throughout the day. It's as "Power 106" as the River City can handle.
 
I did listen online briefly, I heard pretty mainstream stuff, its more KIIS like Hip Hop as opposed to KDAY/KPWR. Some people wouls say it suits Evansville fine. Mabye so, but it could be just a tad daring.

Like I said, I'm playing my lottery and hoping to win a big 100 million jackpot so I can buy that cluster and do as I please with 106.1(Don't worry Jon, Bill, Joe, and the GBFers, you guys just go on doing what you do)
