Changes at KMJ

Why "HO-HUM" ? I predict Daniel will add a big boost in the PM.

Chris Daniel 5-7PM
Inga Barks 7-9PM
Paper says Levin is still on 9-10PM.
 
I don't like Mark Levin's show being cut by an hour, but, that is what KMJ does best. I hope KYNO gets some additional programming in the near future and really brings about some competition to KMJ. It's about time! KMJ has been ruling the roost for a long time and I am glad it's finally over!!!!.......at least for awhile.

It would be nice if KYNO goes to 50,000 watts because currently, it's signal area is not real great versus KMJ's .....That will bring more listeners to KYNO.
 
It's good to hear more local talk,and less syndicated shows .I hope KYNO as well will add more local talk as well.You can here some of the same syndicated shows on powerful bay area and other California stations for example Dr. Laura can be heard with no problem on The Patriot KMPH 840 from Modesto.As far as KYNO raising power ,I don't think they are allowed do to co-channel interferance with a station in Reno/Sparks NV.
I think Chris Daniel is a good addition to KMJ.
 
As far as what I said about syndicated programs from out of town stations,I wasn't saying becauce there on those stations they soundn't be on Fresno radio stations. Just because I recieve them ,doesn't mean everybody recieves them.
 
Too bad Inga can't go till 10 and Chris could start at 6 to save the news.

Oh even better they should let Chris go Scott Cox style in the Five 'O clock hour. I think he would be awesome at that!

Wonder why Inga isn't being given drive time? It's not the drive to Fresno. . . she never makes one.

I'm just happy I can get KMJ in.
 
kyno is a joke, they have no chance against KMJ...chris d, what a great addition to kmj, skip made a great move there, though i doubt it was his call. chris has a great following and is one of few on air personalities in fresno with any talent.

Pretty much right on point. Two trends and KYNO still hasn't shown up at all. Considering the PR done for this launch, not exactly earth shattering. Also, bringing back a bunch of KMJ programming rejects like Dr. Shlessinger and Dr. Dean Edell on a weaker signal with massive amounts of dead air is not exactly a recipe for success.
 
What was John Ostlund thinking when he bought that stick? Was he making too much money with KJWL and needed a tax shelter? Did he really think that an english language AM other than KMJ would "put three asses in a seat" in Fresno? Seriously..."more of the same" just isn't going to work.
