Changes at KNEX Laredo?

When did this change happen? Its now Hot 106.1 Laredo's hit party station, anyone have any info on it?
 
To my knowledge, KNEX was more of a reggaeton/pop en espanol station. They tried the format in Corpus on 105.5 for a while and it bombed. I guess when 98.1 flipped to Country, KNEX probably morphed into more of a CHR/Rhythmic station.
