I agree with you Shima, K&B were really entertaining. I'm from SF but lived in LA for 4 years and one of the biggest things I miss was LA radio, mainly K&B. They get real talent to stop in or call for interviews, their skits (thanks to Ralph) are usually hilarious, and when they're not they make fun of themselves for it.
@Radical: I actually heard them on many occasions mention SF and the bay area, they even broadcast a show or 2 from the Live105 studios and had many nice things to say - but I get what you're saying about relevance.
As long as I can remember Live105 hasn't been able to nail a morning routine whether it's a show or just music. It seems to always change. As for the "Music in the mornings", it's actually really tired music. Not at all "Modern Rock", well, modern at least 5 years ago. I like a good 90s hit now and then but constant Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bush, etc. is tired. If they really want a unique morning show that plays music Aaron has to throw in a little Soundcheck flavor for some real new music.
It's frustrating as a listener of Live105 for so many years for them to not find their morning niche.
