Changes at Mix 100 in Lubbock?

Maybe it's just the way Hot AC is goning lately, but as of the past few days Mix 100's format is sounding a lot more like a Mainstream CHR. There seem to be heavier rotations of JLo, The Black Eyed Pea, and other more CHR oriented groups. Also, while they'ved always played Gwenn Stefani, the tracks they've played lately seem to have been more Rhythmic in nature. Also, they seem to have abandoned 80's weekends, and are playing a few less 80's songs than before.

Again, could just be me, who knows? Anyone else noticing this with Mix 100?

I suspect that MIX is sounding a little "hotter" because Lubbock is in between books. Eighties all weekend is just too much these days. I hate to say it, but Richard Simmons will be exercising to them soon :'( A better alternative would be to have a three to four hour eighties novelty show on Saturday night (early). I think a Nineties weekend would be appropiate given that we are now well into '06.

Yeah, I'm in complete agreement with you!
There are NO stations playing late 80's and early 90's club music, which was what Hit Music was back then. The 80's are great but how many more times can you listen to REM and Journey?
