Rumbles that there are changes at Star 94.1 after the syndicated mid-day show.

Rick Moorten and Jen Sorensen leave the Hot AC station. Jen was also the music director. Taking over the sopt is Hitman Haze from sister station Channel 933. Haze will also be the afternoon drive at the station.

They had one of the highest billing afternoon shows in San Diego, but dropping Rick Moorton & Jen Sorensen seems to be a budgetary matter at Clear Channel's KMYI-FM (94.1). Their departure also means a domino effect of changes. Hitman Haze, the PD of sister-station KHTS-FM (93.3), will still oversee KHTS but also handle Music Director & APD duties for KMYI and take over as the afternoon host. Hitman's midday shift on KHTS will be filled by Los Angeles sister-station KIIS-FM (102.7) midday host Sisanie, through voicetracking.

Yeah that'll make it better and keeping the billing high. Damn brilliant these CC people: I think they should run every radio station in the US - what with their great programming and marketing ideas and the obvious economies of scale from centralized ownership I think they'd turn radio on its head and make it better than ever!

Listen Rick is a good guy, and he is a radio guy. Anyone that could put up with Jeff and Jerk as long as he did deserves a job. Jen I didn't know well, but Rick will land on his feet I'm just feel bad for star at the loss of Rick. I'm sure it was a hard decision for Jimmy Steele. Jimmy is the best PD in San Diego, and he is the only PD that is actually a broadcaster. And Haze is a good guy too and he is a real radio guy not just some lacky that got on the air. Jimmy and Haze have led 933 to the best ratings that station has ever seen Jimmy should teach a course in CHR programming. I'm sorry if it seems like I'm kissing their ass, I respect the hell out of both of them.
