CHANGES AT THE BIG "I"?

Allaccess has an ad from WIOV for one position, two jobs: middays AND Production. What happened? Anyone know why there is a vacancy?

Consolidation I see, it is hitting everyone not only radio but outside it too. I know the Pfizer in York, PA just cut 20% of their staff.

I listened to them in the mid 90's to hear some country music ( I was only a country fan for 3 years 1997-2000. I know Michael C. Anthony came from them, I used to listen to him when I was at my Uncle's business out in Reading, PA. I did cleaning there (how fun!). But I was only 12 years old.

I am puzzled... In your post you said that you listened to country music for a period of three years, 1997 - 2000. Yet you say you were only twelve years old. I'm curious how you managed to preserve yourself for three years at the age of 12. If we could bottle that up and sell it, there would be a line around the block. You must share your secret.

I wonder if WIOV and the AM (WAGO?) are still in that house...

Weren't they on Bethany Road in Ephrata? The towers were in the Ephrata Mountain though. Used to ride my motorcycle around there when I was a kid growing up in Ephrata.

Yeah, I think that's the name. It was among other single-family homes
in a smaller country-burb area.

The towers were in the Ephrata Mountain though.

Don't know the whereabouts of the FM tower, but the AM towers (3 or 4) are
in the backyard, or the field.

Used to ride my motorcycle around there when I was a kid growing up in Ephrata.

One of mine was an ugly, 1974, 90cc Harley-Davidson. The price (1985), $175.
