Changes at WAGA-TV M-F afternoons

Have heard the rumor that Katie is DOA (no surprise there); WSB will air two episodes of JUDGE JUDY 3-4 pm; Fox5 will start a 4:00 pm news block.

Any confirmation, elaboration, denial?

Where have you heard that rumor? That's so far from the truth...
 
I heard several weeks ago that Katie has been renewed
for Season 2. Is it possible that Judge Judy might be moving
to 11 Alive; they're going to need programming from 2-4, with
the loss of Jeff Probst and Anderson?

Newscorp/FOX won't allow it. Since WAGA is a FOX O&O, it is stuck with Judge Judy. FOX is very aggressive and mandatory about its O&Os airing the court shows during their weekday afternoon block. Just in the past year, FOX finally got its Tampa Bay O&O, WTVT, in uniformity with its fellow O&O stations by airing the Wendy Williams Show.

Amazingly Judge Judy airs on the CBS O&Os in Los Angeles and New York rather than the Fox O&Os there. Not sure if CBS did get first dibs for the show on some of their stations (it also runs on KPIX in San Fran).
