I found out from WAY-FM's quarterly newsletter that Donna Cruz will be moving from afternoons to middays, and that Wally will be moving from Total Axxess to afternoon drive. Any word on who will host Total Axxess, assuming it's continuing?

History see that my former home for eight years tends to allow their personalities to grow and move from the high intensity youth evenings to the younger adult demos in the afternoons.... That was a very normal thing in the old Top-40 days of commercial radio, as well.... The amount of work, research and show prep for the evenings at Way are taxing, but successful.... It's been normal for a new host to come along in the 'TotalAxxess' time slot every few years.....
The Total Axxess show will follow Wally into the new timeslot, from 2-7 (central) weekdays. Many affiliates are going to keep Total Axxess in the night slot, using FTP tracks instead of a live sat feed.

Wonder what they will do with nights? Just put a tracker on there instead?
Other than the content centered around any artists who happen to be visiting on Total Axxess, the music really isn't different that what's normally on WAY-FM; but mainstream Top 40 is typically the same way, aside from newer music tending to show up more after 7 PM. In some ways, this is mirroring the trend of the syndicated afternoon show-WDJX runs Jackson Blue here in the Louisville market, and his show as a fair number of guests as well (albeit most of them by phone). I'm also wondering if this will allow some artists to be on Total Axxess, at say, 3:30 or 4:00 PM and then play a show in Nashville, Bowling Green, Huntsville, etc. that night.
I'm more interested in seeing what would follow Total Axxess-will the next personality on after Wally bring as much energy to the table, or will it sound more like middays?

Jeff will be on after Wally (Jeff did middays after Brant and before Donna's show) Jeff can do high energy stuff but likely will be tracked (Jeff's based in Denver I think at the station there -- not 100% sure)
One thing to note. I noticed on TA.. A lot of wally's segments appear recorded. They also repeat a lot of the 7pm-8pm stuff between 10:30pm-11:30pm.
I thought that they were just moving the entire Total Axxess show to afternoons. It has been a while since I have heard it though.
