Changes At WBAI...

"Unfortunately"? Yikes, It doesn't bother me that much having them at 99.5 FM, I mean, what would a commercial station replace it with? Probably another engineered adult contemporary station or another spanish or urban station.

There are times that I like WBAI, Whenever something boring is on, I simply just skip on upward on the dial from 98.7 to 100.3. Commercial Radio totally dominates the dial, one unique station like WBAI is very unique to New York, and whether or not one agrees with its content, its still historical. Not too mention, it plays its share of interesting music.

I don't see such hostility to WNYC "taking up space" at 93.9 ;)

Although If you watch closely, this isn't like the Christmas Coup, WBAI very well could lose its signal this time. You may get your wish. I just hope more engineered dull programming doesn't take its place. The commercial Dial here is already overloaded.
