In addition to their move to a new studio on Franklin Street in downtown Worcester which was already discussed in an earlier thread, T&G columnist Dianne Williamson finally started her weekday talk show from 1 to 2 p.m. Hank Stolz is now heard from 2 to 5 p.m. Also, local political activist Bill Coleman is doing a local show on Saturday’s at 1 p.m.
None of these changes are reflected on their website yet (http://www.wcrnradio.com/schedule.htm) which was designed and operated by Mike Roberts web design. In fact, Mike who has been with the station since their True Oldies days is MIA from mornings since last Thursday with no mention from Peter Blute about his whereabouts. Does anyone know if he has left the building? With no updates to the web which he was very quick to do, it would appear he has.
Mike is a good guy who was pretty much the jack of all trades at WCRN and before that, WORC-AM. He moved to WCRN with Frank Foley & Paul Healey when WORC was sold to Gois Broadcasting and the resulting flip to Spanish.
