Changes at WCVB/5 (traffic/Chronicle)

I just read in Jessica Heslam's media column in the Boston Herald that Cindy Campbell was laid off of SmartRoutes as was Jeff Larson (who was on 5 this morning). Is WCVB/5 now going to have the weather people (J.C. and Mike Wankum) do traffic as well, a la Cindy Fitzgibbon on Fox 25? Please note that I listed Mike Wankum as AM weather because WCVB appears to be using J.C. (and maybe Bianca) as reporters for Chronicle, just like sister station WMUR/9 uses its news anchors Tom Griffith and Tiffany Eddy as its Chronicle hosts (with a daily video article from WENH/11's Fritz Weatherbee).
 
I was sorry to see Cindy and Jeff go, for both of them knew what they were talking about when it came to road conditions and presented their reports in a clear and consise way. I'm not as crazy about the new traffic person in the morning. She doesn't have the confidence that the others did, and occassionally mispronounces the names of cities and towns. Did Channel 5 want another pretty face on the air? Things sure are changing on Boston TV.
