Changes at WDKS?

Like I just said in another topic, it may be so! Falen and Holly are out, Nikki B(a Black Girl no less) gets upgraded to nights and they have Keith Curry programming and holding down Afternoons. Plus, a newly added mix show has me wondering Hmmmmm, Evansville's home for Hip Hop And R&B? Mabye even get the Steve Harvey Morning Show(he is carried on Mainstream Urbans and I would want to have a African American based morning show to attract the black listenership, plus Regent likes to run cheap.)

Holly and Falen quit... changes are for sure coming to KISS.. they are horrible in ratings and Storm (old PD) was let go and now doing middays at HOT 96.

Joshua Messex, why do you keep mentioning the race of the Keith and nikki? That doesn't matter.. several urban stations are run by "white folks"... and as far as mornings go, if they wanted to win in adult r&b Steve Harvey not the way to go.. Tom Joyner Morning Show!

Like I said

I wasn't trying to be racist, I just made a observation. I can't recall a period in Evansville in which two non white DJs had major slots like this. I'm happy that Nikki B and Keith are doing their thang, and I hope that thang transelates to something Hip Hop a licious.

Now as for mornings, since I was proposing a Hip Hop station, I brought up Steve as several Mainstream Urbans air his show(KATZ St Louis to the left for example) In Joyner's case only one Mainstream Urban(which was actually a split station between UC and UAC) aired his syndicated show and that WILD-FM Boston and Radio One sold that one off, so currently Joyner is a UAC commodity. Unless you propose moving WEOA to 106.1 and having a split format(I guess that could work)
