Changes At WECK

Sorry to hear that Tom Schuh is no longer plying his proven talents as PD/OM of WECK and WLVL. Tom did an outstanding job making WECK sound cohesive 24/7, doing news and production and succeeding in the face of many challenges.

(Cue the rimshot...)

Some guy named Mike Melody.

I heard it might be Jerry Jack. ;)

Be big...be a building. ;D

Tom's a very smart guy, but jump starting an AM station in the 21st century is a tough row to hoe. Best of luck to Tom in future endeavors. I'm sure he'll find something good, in or out of radio.

WECK: All roll, no Beef.

That's um...is there any sizzle? I'm used to people saying "all sizzle no steak."

??? I guess, at least they have the bun. :D

Any idea what happened? Was this just a cost cutting move? I thought he was on vacation last week, and then this week it seemed like something must be up.

I agree that he was excellent on the news and seemed to be the glue for the station. He was good for Brad's show, because he has a lot of knowledge about a lot of things - music, sports, politics, etc.

The afternoon news guy sounds like an NIA reject. He reads like an elementary school kid..pronouncing every "a" as a hard A. Come on Dick...you can find someone better than this guy.

Sounds like money's getting tight. I see a WLVL/WECK simulcast(or semi-simulcast) in the future.
