Changes at WSJS

Anyone know the name Brian Freeman?

Heard a rumor this afternoon (from a FORMER employee) that he will replace BAM! Also heard from an advertiser that a sales person told him that BAM is on the way out!

Just curious!

Bet Mr. Freeman's not as good as either one of you! Plus, he won't know a thing about the area.

The mime could still do a MUCH better radio show than BAM.

Is she going back to DC to be with her good buddies, Geronimo, O'Meara, and Spewak?

Not sure what her plans are. And she finally learned to say the call letters this year! Amazing!!

Ah....remember the good ole days of afternoon drive on WSJS? Remember Mike Fenley? Now Mike is Mr. Republican working for Burr! Do you remember John Michaels from the mid 90's? He's dead. Of course, there was the idiot of idiots, Andy Thomas? Remember that mistake? God knows where he is. Just keep him away from your teenage daughter. You want to go way back? How about John Fricke in PMD in the early 90's? I think he's doing sports talk in Denver. Also, there was David Albright...remember? I think he's now producing all those auto dealer infomercials that run at 2am.

Last I heard, your friend Andy Thomas was is South Carolina - doing a show out of Columbia that he syndicated on a number of small stations around the state. Haven't heard it lately, but used to catch him on the way to Myrtle Beach.

His son was hawking a teen forum show a couple of years ago. That apple didn't fall far from the tree!

You left out when SJS hired Dusty Dunn back in '96 or '97. Lasted less than a year.

Andy Thomas had folded his talk show earlier this year and is now doing sales with the Clear Channel cluster in Columbia.

Whatever happened to Wayne Ashworth? He was ND at WTOB when I was there in the early 70's and left to go to SJS and 12?
