Free massages for all !!

CBS Radio/Phoenix market manager Marco Camacho has exited the cluster, and will be replaced by director of new business development, Mark Waters. Camacho joined CBS Radio in April 2006, and previously served as regional VP for Cumulus.

How many GM/Market Managers have there been at CBS-Phoenix??????

It's as bad as San Francisco!

What i want to know is why does CBS continue to fire the good people and leave jug-heads in place  It's happening at most of there clusters.

Two words: Joel Hollander.

OK, four words: Joel Hollander, Les Moonves.

Soooo, what's the "massage parlor" angle? Seems to me I vaguely recall
something involving the name in question a number of years ago. Maybe
it was just a radio stunt gone awry? Nothing like the KDND fiasco but it
did get some local press, IIRC.

Wow people! Your jealousy is a little obvious here ::) Don't hate the player, hate the game ;D

Congratulations to one of the best radio managers in Phoenix. Those who have had the opportunity to work with Mark know that he deserves this and CBS is lucky to have him.

He will make CBS Radio Phoenix a GREAT place to work and you all know it.

Way to go Mark!

That's right! Mark Waters is one of the best GM's around in my book. I agree, jealous people.

I've never worked with him personally, and from all I've heard, he's a great GM. But come on... being all over TV after being busted by Sheriff Joe for getting an HJ at a massage parlor during business hours with a wife and kids at home? I think that's worthy of a little smack talking on this board!

From what i've been told there is a guy by the name of Brian (can't think of his last name) out of the Dallas cluster that's been responsible for all these changes in Phoenix AND Dallas. I could be wrong as i'm not in the loop but i've heard this from several people who work in both Dallas and Phoenix.

Maybe this new gm is a nice guy but don't you think 5 General Managers in 5 years is a bit too much?

Wheezy sounds like the name of prostitute Waters was with. As far as a good GM, he has been at just about every station in the valley over the past 15 years, he better start getting good at something. What makes being a good GM? Being a great con man? Jealousy doesn't even cross my mind it's more sympathy for alot of people that he has hurt over the years.
