Changes coming at WNSP?

Why the condescending tone?

Yes, true a sports station.

Also a sports station that has had market credibility for over a decade.

A sports station that equaled one news talker in town last book (WNTM) and surpassed the other news talker in town WABB ( a 2.2 book compared with a 1.0), besides being a station that has billed pretty consistently as far as I can tell.

What's next?

I'm glad WNSP is able to do well enough to keep things going and provide folks jobs (as long as they don't talk bad about Alabama). ;) But the only reason 105.5 would get my attention would be for the ESPN Radio programming; I've never found their local shows very compelling at all.

They're making the most out of that small Bay Minette FM, I'll give them that. If I could suggest one change, it might be to switch dial positions with co-owned WZEW 92.1 to catch more of Baldwin County.

I'll agree on the local show points you made, and to think they got a 2.2 share last book on the strength of ESPN syndicated shows! Imagine what they could do if they had some local content that had a little kick?

I'm not in the market anymore, but I thought WNSP did a great job compared to other sports stations that I've heard. ESPN programming was strong, and as much as a lot of people don't like to admit it their local programming wasn't bad. I mean you're not getting Top 10 market talent, but the local guys know their stuff, they have a lot of good contacts in the market, and they do a good job of alking about what people care about...mostly Auburn and Alabama football. Give em props and wish them the best.
