Changes coming to KOYN Paris

KOYN in Paris has dropped their morning show, local rumors have a format change in the mix. Makes sense given the last ratings period had them near dead last in the market. However the rumors I've heard cause a musical overlap with co-owned KPLT-AM. So I'd suspect more of a station retooling than an outright change.

I don´t see Lamar County as part of any rated metro. What ratings are you referring to?

Lamar is not a rated market but does get books from Nielsen. It's a sub of DFW if I'm not mistaken. I know our cluster has it and it was from Nielsen.

It may be the county by county annual survey.

Yeah, likely. That Country Circulation product is notoriously weak in reliability in small counties, and the home county for Paris has less than 30 thousand residents.

The PPM markets no longer have TSA areas, so it is not part of the DFW book. I suspect b-turner has the right answer.
