Changes coming to Phoenix LPTV station KTVP-LD

The Good News TV Latino simulcast on KTVP-LD channel 22.4 is gone, replaced by color bars with the channel description advertising the new Rev'n Automotive Network from Luken Communications, set to debut December 1. Also, the description on channel 22.6 has changed from ShopNow to Jewelry, and the channel now has programming from Jewelry TV. So far, it is audio only; the video remains the black screen. Jewelry TV also airs on channel 58.1, a subchannel of Daystar TV.

The GNTV broadcast on 22.1 is going off the air between 10 am and 4 pm on Tuesday, November 18 for maintenance. A crawl cautions Phoenix viewers to not rescan their TVs during that time, or they will lose channel 22.1. Of course, they would get it back if they rescanned after 4 pm.
 
KTVP-LD 22.6 Jewelry TV now has video as well as audio. 22.4 is now a promo loop for Rev'n instead of color bars.
 
Strange. The Rev'n promo loop is now gone, replaced with programming from Impact TV Network, a Sacramento-based Russian-language Christian channel. I wasn't aware that we had a such a large Russian-speaking community in the Phoenix area.

Rev'n is not gone, however. Their website, http://www.revntv.com, lists KPHE-LD 44.3 as the new affiliate. If true, that would replace Smart Lifestyle TV. Rev'n, a Luken Communications network, would be a good fit, as KPHE offers two other Luken networks, RetroTV on 44.2 and PBJ on 44.4.

Rev'n is also slated to begin Monday at 2 pm PST in Las Vegas NV on KEGS-LD channel 30.4.
