Changes Galore in Hartford/NewHaven This Fall

Lots of changes this fall at the stations in Hartford/New Haven this fall. There's lots of show swapping going on between FOX 61 and WCCT-TV/20. No more weekday infomercials on MY TV 9 and they pick up 3 shows from FOX 61/WCCT. No Changes at WFSB and WTNH. And trash galore on NBC 30.

NBC 30's afternoon line up includes 2 new trash shows - Access Hollywood Live at Noon and Real Housewives at 2PM.

Judge Mathis and Everyone Loves Raymond moves to FOX 61 from WCCT.

Jerry Springer, Maury Povich, The Simpsons, and Family Guy all move from FOX 61 to WCCT.

FOX 61 also picks up The People's Court from NBC 30.

MY TV 9 is adding a 2 hour sitcom block 5AM-7AM - My Wife and Kids and The Cosby Show leading into an hour of news. America's Funniest Videos airs at 8AM replacing Connecticut Style and an Infomercial. The Kenneth Copeland Ministries goes back at hour from 10AM to 9AM. MY TV 9 also picks up Divorce Court/Judge Alex along with South Park from WCCT.

Is WCCT still going to air the daily church service at 10 AM?

Sadly yes. And there's nothing they can do to get out of the contract - much like how ABC Family can't get rid of The 700 Club. The Live Catholic Church Mass originally aired on WHCT Channel 18 until they went dark in 1991. Sometime later it moved to Viacom owned NBC affiliate WVIT Channel 30. A couple years later it moved to WTXX. I don't know if it was before or after WVIT began to LMA the station. It wasn't until 1996 when Viacom sold WVIT to NBC did WTXX get in bed with Tribune and FOX 61.

That has been on there since I remember. Nothing really wrong with that at all. Better then infos or something. Plus its local programing anyway not that junk on ABC family channel
