Changes happening at KTSA??

According to Jeanne Jackle-S.A. Express

Fixed slot for Bolton?

There's no word yet on which talk show shift on KTSA will eventually add WOAI's former popular voice, Bolton.
However, he continues to move around the clock at the station, filling in for various names. A few weeks back, he subbed for Chris Duel in the afternoon — Duel was subbing for vacationing morning host Trey Ware at the time. This week, you can hear him from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Messer's slot.

Bolton has drawn quite a bit of attention with his outgoing personality and tough political talk. It'll be interesting to see when and where he will land full-time.

I think his prominent presence there is very curious. I like that it seems to have reduced the use of Paul Alexander as the designated substitute whenever anyone besides Trey goes on vacation. My dislike of Coach A's work as a fill-in is already documented here.

I've noticed KTSA making more of an effort at cross-promotion between the two drive-time shows. Chris Duel and Trey Ware now make daily appearances on each others' shows. I wonder if that was designed to prop up one or the other of them. Could that Dave Ramsey roadblock on the edge of drive-time be driving listeners away?
