Changes In 2011

Third, and I promised not to tell who, but a CT AM/FM combo might see a major change possibly including format in 2011, Note I said CT ... don't focus your guesses just on Hartford or New Haven, it could be Bridgeport, Danbury, Willimantic or someplace else. (is that vague enough?)

Love this time of year...where the radio message board guys make up rumors!

Now hold on, when have I ever been known to make up rumors? (other than previously mentioning a pirate station attempting to go HD, it's the same one). I guess I should also have placed New London on that list, but that doesn't matter, it's not New London, in fact the location has only one word in it's name. Actually, I'll admit the big one is a rumor that was passed onto me with the promise not to actually tell, and so far, I'm just making everyone guess.

BTW: and this belongs on the New England TV board but I figure folks here might want to know too... 61.2 has started running promos (and PSA's) for Antenna TV (hey, where's DOT 2?)

Michael J is the personality on at night on IHeartRadio's Country Road channel. Among other places, it is broadcast on WLTW HD2 in New York. I like him; he is an entertaining jock.

Ok, I must admit when I'm wrong and unfortunately it was by repeating something that I heard on this board some time ago.

I mentioned that I heard WWUH was planning on going HD at some point, I've been informed that this information is incorrect.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.

However, the rest of what I posted is still very much possible (except the pirate, he's too busy with other projects, and he's really only toying with equipment, it might happen, but more than likely not)

Speaking of pirates, that reminds me, I have a new one to report... see the other posting for details.
