Changes in Council Bluffs/Omaha

After stunting with Christmas Music for over a day, KEFM, 96.1, flips to '80's rock as 96.1, The Brew. What's interesting is that recently, CC launched Bob & Tom on US 93.3, a classic country station. Will CC move B&T to 96.1?

This comes a few days after classic rocker, 92.9 in Lincoln shifted to more of an '80's based rock.

Oh, both stations are owned by Clear Channel.

Is 80's rock CC's latest pet project? In addition to the changes in CB/Omaha and Lincoln, CC recently launced "the Brew" in Columbus, OH as well. All of this after CC launched the first "Brew" station in Milwaukee about a year ago.

When, The Bus runs out of gas, could CC do something similar in Des Moines?

huge difference between the two, just check out their websites:

www.961thebrew.com is 80's rock similar to KGGO's HairBall (do they still even do that?), geared toward men

http://mixradio.com/main.html airs John Tesch at night, enough said.

If the BUS or My100 doesn't workout, you bet it will happen.

Look at it this way, whatever happens in Omaha, Cedar Rapids, Quad Cities or any other similar type markets, will or can happen in DSM.
