Changes in the sports desk at KGO?

I haven't heard Larry Krueger at all on KGO lately, then I saw a report that KGO just hired Kevin Raddich to take over the afternoon news sports job. Ken Dito has been doing the afternoon sports lately (and very well I might add)- too bad he doesn't seem to be the permament replacement.

What's interesting is that I heard absoultely nothing about Krueger or what might have happened. Of course, he's the controversial former KNBR talk show host who made a few questionable comments that cost him his job there, but he seemed pretty tame at KGO. Anyone have any ideas?
 
Don't quote me on this but I think Larry is at KHTK in Sacramento now. I remember hearing that.
 
He was let go by KGO when his contract was about to be guaranteed. They just didn't want to pay him the money I believe. There was a brief article about it in the Chronicle when this happened.

He has his gig in Sac on Saturdays, but when I ran into him, he wanted a more permanent spot. Last I heard is that he might be trying to do something with the Dodgers...
 
Yay! I just got back from vacation and found out that Kevin the Rat...err, Radich now as he's now known, on KGO! Funny thing was, I actually heard about this from listening to Gary Radnich on KNBR, who gave him a plug (no relation though right?) Great hire. Very creative and entertaining, unlike some of the folks previously at that desk. He's put a little snap into the afternoon news in my opinion.
